- This Subsidized Traineeship Program Is Still Unknown To Most Business Owners and Stops Soon (June 30, 2022).
- BAC Program is not just for Apprenticeships. You can enrol eligible employees in a 12 Month Diploma of Business or Certificate 3 in Business.
- There Is Still Time For Employers To Apply For Up To 50% of Wages of Eligible Employees (Max $7,000 per Quarter For Each Employee).
Main Benefits
To assist with recovery from COVID-19, the Australian Government has extended a massive program with up 50% wage subsidies to all employers who engage a new Trainee or Apprentice. In particular, employees enrolling in Diploma of Business/Cert 3 in Business with Red Mako may be eligible for wage subsidy to Employer up to $28,000 over 12 months.
Benefit to Employee
Your employee will receive access to highest quality business training over 12 months and receive a Diploma of Business on completion.
Course costs ($2995) are paid by employer either up front or on a payment plan.
Benefit to Employer
For each employee in this program, you will receive a 50% wages subsidy (paid to you quarterly).
Plus Payroll Tax Exemption for wages of all Trainees.
Example: if wages are $56k per year, you receive $7k per quarter, total of $28k over 12 months.

This program will raise the business management and supervision skills of our workforce, while at the same time giving ALL Australian businesses more resources to help recover from COVID-19.

How Many of Your Employees May Be Eligible?
Once your employees qualify they are called "trainees" in the program. Here are the broad eligibility rules:
- 1Traineeship must commence before June 30th, 2022. This means you must act now to enrol your eligible employees in time.
- 2Your Trainee be a "New Worker". This means if full-time must have commenced work within last 3 months. If part-time must have commenced work within last 12 months.
- 3Your Trainee is an "Existing" Worker. Your Trainee may also qualify if being transferred for CASUAL to either PART-TIME or FULL-TIME. Or transferred from PART-TIME to FULL-TIME. You are only able to enroll 30 "Existing" Workers from your business.
- 4Your Trainee is not already receiving another form of Australian Government wage subsidy. For example "Supporting Apprentices & Trainees Program" or JOBKEEPER. (You could enrol a Trainee once they come off JOBKEEPER.)
