The Intrinsic Balance Point of Success in all areas of life Part One

Have you noticed that often there is a model or a story that takes a whole bunch of theory that you understood ‘intellectually’  before – but allows you to ‘get it’.

Today let’s imagine there is a see-saw of success in your life right now.  And life is best when the see-saw is level, I mean horizontal.

On each end of the see-saw are boxes with your “Rules” for success.

For today – just imagine that in the box on your left is “How you do anything  is how you everything”.   This is a formula for excellence. Or mediocrity.  Do it properly or do it so it needs ‘fixing’ later.

In the box on your right is “You can do anything you want – but not everything.”  This is a formula for selection and focus.  If you attempt to do everything – what happens?  When you choose very specific things to get done – and focus on them – what usually happens?

What angle is your see-saw at right now?  Are you overwhelmed with things to do and you try to do them all?  Or are you doing a few things  done perfectly – but they are not the things that will give you the success you want in life?

More on this tomorrow.
